Fringey top 5 pubs
This top five is an update from last October.

Bradley's Spanish Bar - Still the unofficial Fringey Headquarters. Cute barmen and a spot on jukebox. But please don't come along to check it out. It's only wee and there isn't room for you!
The Lock Tavern - excellent music played by real live DJs, reasonably priced gin and the prettiest boys in town drink there including Mr Alex Zane. Although the last time we were here JoFringey fell through one of the battered, badly sprung, chairs!
The Phoenix Artist Club - Ok, so the Rac*ntours had their aftershow here, but don't let that put you off. The Artists Club is a, slightly camp, Olde Worlde theatre pub, music playing is more likely to be showtunes than grindie, and the food isn't great. We keep coming back though. Its friendly and relaxed, you usually get a seat and even an occasional sleb spot. (ie - It's open till 3am and LuceFringey is a member!!!)
The New Rose - does a nice stonebaked pizza, the DJ's can't half choose some champion choons and it is frequented by lovely North London asparagus!
The Old Blue Last - It's in Shoreditch. It gets a name check in Ali Love's song about a lost night on K. Its owned by Vice magazine. It is beyond pretentious. Why do we like it??
well its either that or ...
The Good Mixer - It is constantly rammed with locals from Camden, market traders and boys in bands. The gin is cheap and is right close to the station. Ok so still coasting on a decade old brit pop reputation, but continues to pull in the punters. And that includes us.
